Searching for offspring of Onyx and Barron that have offspring of their own...Barron and Onyx have both aged out...Barron at age 10 and Onyx at age 14...They created such wonderful dogs...I have a client who recently lost his dog to an illness and would love to have another dog/ pup with some of the same lines.. Help me Welcome Ashar to Oak Creek Farm..She arrived yesterday..She was dehydrated from her 8+ hours ride so at 5pm we were at the vets for mild colic...by 9pm she was much better...Today has been wonderful with her..we are working on learning to trust each other...it is going very well...today we groomed only with a halter on..tonight no halter.. I never dreamed it would go this quickly...She has a good mind on her.. She is 16hh and only 3.5 years old...she will grow more yet...She may finish closer to 17hh. Ashar is a Fiesian cross...they did not tell me what the cross was but I'm pretty sure it's Quarter Horse.
She is broke to ride already..Right now we are still getting to know each other while she is in quarantine for a month. But I will ride her before the month is up..
Ashar will be scent trained for mounted search and rescue..She is large but her heart is amazingly kind. She will also be trained to drive. Oh, did I tell you I am head over heels in love with her.? Can you tell?

Newborn at home so the dog has to go .
For those who give up their dogs when they have a baby, I'm posting this photo of a family whose 15-year-old Jack Russel Terrier is treated as one of the children (because he was their first child) and who is the protector of his two human brothers and sisters.
Never use the excuse that you had to let your dog go because you have a baby in the family and the doctor advised you blah blah blah and other lame excuses.
Never abandon your pets. They are family 😍

We just got out of the shelter and got in the car... If they ask me what happiness means I will show this pic!!!!!
See joy !!!!! After 4 years in the cage we are going to our forever home!!!
