Pan Got His Freedom Ride—But He’s Not Truly Free Yet.

Thanks to your shares and support, Pan is SAFE from euthanasia. He got his freedom ride just in time—but sadly, no foster stepped up, and he’s now in boarding.

While we’re grateful he’s alive, boarding is not the ideal place for a dog like Pan. He’s smart, energetic, playful, and craves connection. He needs a home where he can decompress, continue his training, and finally start his journey to adoption.

Pan must be the only pet (or kept separate), and our rescue will provide full training support to help him thrive. What he really needs is a foster hero who believes in second chances.

💔 Setback for Groot - he needs your help! 💔

Sweet Groot has hit a heartbreaking setback. He’s been diagnosed with a cranial vestibular nerve flare—causing a painful head tilt, GI issues, and a lot of confusion for this brave boy. We urgently need to consult a neurologist to uncover the root cause… but we simply don’t have the funds to get him there.

We’ve already poured over $5,000 into Groot’s care just to give him a fighting chance—and we’ve only raised $1,800. Without your help, we can’t move forward. We can’t get him the critical treatment he desperately needs. And without it… we may lose him.

Key / Keith update! 🩵

This sweet boy is house-trained, gentle indoors, and learning how great love feels. He knows his basic commands and responds very well to positive reinforcement.

Key loves walks and toys, and while he’s still working on passing other dogs calmly and not being startled by sudden movements, he’s making amazing progress every day.

He’s ready for a forever home that will keep showing him patience and kindness. Could it be yours? 🐾

FOUND DOG! A good Samaritan found this sweet boy Sunday, April 20 around 2 PM at Krog Street market. He is an intact male still a puppy less than a year old. He is not chipped and did not have any identifying tag.

Good Samaritan is keeping him overnight and then will take him to lifeline in the morning to report him as a stray for the stray hold. If anyone recognizes this dog, please reach out to us and please share throughout your networks!

This boy is very sweet, we will be keeping an eye on him once he’s registered at lifeline. If anyone is willing to step up and Foster after the stray hold is up, please reach out to us and let us know!!!

💔 UPDATE: Petey STILL Needs a Foster – and He’s Struggling in Boarding💔

Petey thought he had found his forever… but now he’s back in rescue and stuck in boarding, confused and declining by the day.

This sweet boy doesn’t understand why he’s alone again. His heart is breaking—and honestly, so is ours.

He’s already been through so much. Boarding is no place for a pup like Petey, especially one who’s already shown signs of kennel stress. He needs a calm, loving home where he can decompress and feel safe.🐾

🙏 We are still searching for a foster. Is there anyone who can give Petey a soft place to land? Even short-term would be a lifeline. Petey would do best separated from resident dogs until our trainer can assist. Older kids only 10+.

Please step up for him. He doesn’t deserve to be forgotten. 🧡🐶

Sweet Brownie had his first critical procedure—and it may have saved his life. Vets were able to drain over 11 pounds of fluid from his distended stomach, giving him much-needed relief and the ability to move more comfortably.This is just the beginning of his healing journey.Brownie is now on a long, delicate 3-month course of heartworm treatment—made even more complex by his underlying heart defect. He’ll require close monitoring, follow-up care, and specialized medications to give him the best chance at survival.We’re so grateful he made it this far—but we still need your help.His total care is estimated at $4,000, and we can’t do this without the compassion of our community. Our Story

We are a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing injured, abused, and neglected dogs from high-kill shelters and off the streets who have not been saved by other rescue groups. By no fault of their own, these dogs are homeless and hopeless on death row on euthanization lists. We are 100% volunteer run and 100% donor-funded.

Given the severity of the injuries and issues with the dogs we rescue, our vet bill are high. We value dogs of all breeds and are not breed-specific.
