In honor of our founders birthday today - We need your help 🥹💜🙏 to continue this organizations mission! I, the founder, NEED a break to get medical treatment to stay alive ❤️‍🩹as I have been battling a fatal heart condition and a deadly internal infection I caught saving lives of sick horses.

Edit to add - We would be honored to offer anyone who donates a free horseback riding lesson, family trail ride, or free professional family photography with the therapy horses and ponies! You can also use your donation credit to give a free riding lesson to your friends or family, or use it for a discount on a birthday party, beach ride, or event! We love giving to those who give back! 🥹

Edit to add - We have faith everything will be ok no matter what! We just can’t see it yet, but there is a beautiful rainbow on the other side of this storm. 🥹💜🙏🪶 Jeremiah 29:11 & Matthew 19:26

I’ve had some crazy bad luck, but one thing about me is I use pain for POWER. It sounds unfortunate that I contracted a zoonotic disease not once but TWICE in 2017, but it was a blessing in disguise as it taught me so much so I now know a lot more about both human medicine as well as veterinary medicinal science. I learned so much about Equine infectious diseases becoming zoonotic because I had to live it and heal my own self when all drs could do is give me antibiotics to take orally and keep telling me they don’t know how to treat the infection bc they’ve never heard of it. I have a good lawsuit built against multiple hospitals & medical institutions. Holistic medicine ie natural living things is the only thing that has kept me alive. Praise God for the support and those who have helped me with those things, yall are my Earth Angels! You know who you are!

In spring of 2017 was the first zoonotic disease. Around March of that year I caught Murine Typhus a type of Plague. It came from a little dog I rescued from north Houston near greenspoint.
Then in August 2017, I cut my leg in hurricane Harvey floodwaters and caught “Pigeon Fever” - scientifically named corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis. I would be re-exposed to the bacteria worsening the zoonotic disease again in 2020, 2022, and 2025.

I have 3 kids who also got sick, and they are currently under the care of Infectious Disease Drs at Texas Children’s Hospital. The kids got sick playing in the sand where a sick pony lived in 2020. The bacteria comes from the horse or sick animal such as a goat sheep etc and then it lives in the dirt for up to 8 months. The bacteria enters the body mainly through open wounds! My kids are allergic to mosquitoes bc of the Ehlers Danlos Syndrome so if they scratch a mosquito bite the skin will just come right off leaving an open wound - that’s how the kids contracted the bacteria.

This sickness and having to heal my own self with prayer, meditation, and natural living medicine such as plants and herbs is what led to me becoming an Ordained Minister as a Shaman. I had to go through the sickness as the spiritual right of initiation to be able to be The Healer I am today.
I lay hands on both animals and people and heal them, along with using natural organic herbs and healing crystals to help me supplement the healing process.
Prayer 🙏 and the lifestyle I live as a Navajo-Cherokee Shamanic Practitioner is the only reason or logical explanation for how I am still alive when I should’ve been dead years ago after going into sepsis multiple times starting in 2018.

Pictured below is Nova Mae, 7 years old, a surviving twin - she is High Functioning on the Autism Spectrum & overcomes the disabilities caused by Ehlers Danlos Syndrome - she is my mini me and she still teaches riding lessons along side me and takes good care of her therapy horses and ponies & keeps up with training them no matter how sick she feels this girl never quits - I am SO proud of my babygirl for being a REAL COWGIRL 🤠 as we call it - real cowgirls can make it through anything just like Lainey Wilson sings about in Wildflowers & Wildhorses which fyi is me and Novas theme song per the Boss Lady yes Nova is the Boss lol 😆 she’s been the Boss of the organization ever since she watched the movie BOSS BABY and when she started talking it was OVER WITH 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I never stood a chance of being the Boss with Nova Mae around 🤷🏻‍♀️ - The horses saved her from being special needs or wheelchair bound ❤️‍🩹 . How? The horses provide Nova 3 Vital kinds of therapy - Physical Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Spiritual/Traditional Navajo-Cherokee Medicinal Therapy

We have had so many people tell us to sell the horses. Selling the horses is NOT an option. And they are still recovering from getting sick from other people’s sick horses so part of the help we need is help to pay off the balance of our vet bill! We’ve paid over $1k on it, we still have a $1093 remaining balance. We really need their veterinary care to continue and that can’t happen until we pay on our account. With my health as fragile as it is, I’ve had 4 heart episodes like a heart attack in the last 12 months - I’ve had 3 within the last 6 months that landed me in the hospital on heart monitors. Antibiotics stopped working for me and now I need invasive surgery to get through this and I can’t do that until we have the funds for me to take a break.
Besides all of that, It would be morally wrong to sell a horse recovering from a deadly infectious disease. It would also traumatize our horses for them to be separated, which is why as an animal welfare organization we operate as a Sanctuary.

My children NEED their therapy horses to be OK. Each horse we rescued or raised from birth has an IMPORTANT JOB within the organization. Our reality doesn’t match the negative opinions of those who say we need to downsize our herd or etc. That would cause more harm than good to both the animals and the people.

What we are looking forward to is the community supporting our mission helping Autism & Mental health patients, Domestic Violence survivors, Addiction Recovery, PTSD survivors, and low income families who have dreams of owning or riding horses. What we need is positive energy and people to share our posts so that the world can know we exist and that we are here to help anyone who needs us!
We have been SO BLESSED to have literally the PERFECT herd of horses to do the job. You need minimum of 7 to 10 horses to even run a lesson program. A therapy program that helps significant numbers of people in the community calls for even more horses.

I saw all the horses we own now when I died in 2018 and was “gone” in a coma. God showed me they would be ours to share with others and told me my survival depends on keeping these horses happy healthy and alive & sharing them with those who truly need them like myself and my kids to be OK.

Science and our Navajo Cherokee ancestors proved horses are healers. Science backs up that our brain releases oxytocin and dopamine when we ride or interact with a horse.

Our blood pressure and heart rate stabilize, pain levels go down, stress levels go down. And on a frequent basis visiting the horses builds more serotonin in the brain which is lacking in people who struggle with lots of stress, depression, anxiety bipolar etc etc

Please share our post - comment - etc. Donate if you can 🙏🥹💜

No matter what NEVER GIVE UP! Keep riding, keep dancing, keep singing, chase your dreams. Don’t let anyone or anything stop you! Even if you get slowed down a little, setbacks are stepping stones to even greater comebacks! I use my pain for POWER and nothing can make me stop riding and stop doing and teaching yoga or making herbal tea and natural remedies. It’s what is keeping me alive and out of a wheelchair. Negative comments will be blocked and deleted! We do so much to help others, we HATE asking for help but we have to as a non profit organization in order to keep going and growing so please respect us and our mission 🙏💜

We had SO MUCH FUN at the Strawberry 🍓 Festival in Dickinson which has historically been held for over 100 years! The horses and ponies did so good. A HUGE THANKYOU to our volunteers who made this possible and a HUGE THANKYOU to the Episcopal Church for having us! It was truly an honor 🥹🙏💜🪶
