Baby season is upon us! During springtime is really common to come across baby animals. The first thing you should do is leave it alone. Usually their mom is in the vicinity, possibly looking for food or other things to care for their baby and will be back. If you see that Mom has been injured or after time hasn’t come back the next step you take should be to contact your local wildlife rescue. They’ll let you know what they they’d like you to do next. Here at the Bird and pet clinic of Roseville we are a hub for wildlife rescues so if you find any wildlife in our area, feel free to drop it by during our open hours, and we will make sure that they are sound and healthy and send them off to the rescue.
