Hello everyone!

One of the most important parts of dog grooming is keeping nails in good condition!

Excessive length on nails can lead to arthritis, twisted joints, foot pain, or damage to the nail (from being cracked, split, or caught on things).

Dot here had her nails last done within 8 weeks, and look how long they got already! This is normal nail growth- we see it frequently.

Most dogs will need their nails done every 3-8 weeks.

Take a look at your pup’s nails- do they need to be done?

Reggie is a typical corgi- a very good boy, but independent and feisty!

His owner knows how important it is to keep a dog like Reggie used to the grooming process. We see him every 4 weeks to keep his nails short, shedding minimal, and keep Reggie used to the process so it’s not a scary, overstimulating experience!

Boofy felt so good getting all cleaned up!

He is a special needs guy- he doesn’t have eyes, so it was very important to him that we kept our hands on him, and kept up a steady flow of conversation so he knew where we were throughout the grooming.

We were so surprised at how quickly he became comfortable in the one on one setting! He enjoyed his spa day. ✨
