At this time, HPH relies on the generosity of others to open their hearts and homes by offering to foster the dogs and cats we rescue. If you would like to volunteer/foster for us, an application can be emailed to you. All fosters and adopters must be approved. Prior to adoption all pets will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Since adoptions fees are k

ept to a minimum and don't cover our medical expenses, we rely heavily on donations in order to keep saving lives. Please consider helping our worthy cause by using our 'donate' link or mailing a check to the address shown. We and the animals really appreciate any help.

ZIGGY HAS BEEN WITH US FOR 1285 DAYS. He is a senior dog that needs a home now. We fear he will live his last days here. We would love nothing more than to see Ziggy adopted but we would consider someone fostering him and providing him the love and comfort he deserves in his final years. Please do not post rescue names to send him to. He needs a person, not another kennel.

Is it the expense of his allergy meds and food that is keeping you from fostering? BCAS is offering to pay for the cost of his allergy meds and food in hopes to get him into a good home. He is 8.5 years old and his grey shows more and more each day. How many years does he have left?

🐾⭐ Great Boy Alert: Chester is STILL waiting ⭐🐾

Chester is one of those dogs that everyone falls in love with the second they meet him… yet somehow this handsome 1-year-old brindle Terrier mix is still waiting for the forever family he keeps hearing about.

We honestly don’t understand how this goofy, lovable boy keeps getting overlooked.
