💔 Boo Boo Is Back — and He’s Hoping His Second Chance Is His Forever 💔
Our hearts are heavy sharing this update. Sweet, scruffy Boo Boo was adopted at the beginning of August, and sadly, through no fault of his own, he has been returned to APL. This little guy truly loved having a home, and it’s clear he’s happiest when he’s with his people.
Boo Boo struggles with separation anxiety, and he’s looking for an understanding adopter who is home frequently and has experience helping dogs work through this. The good news? Boo Boo loves other dogs, and having a confident canine buddy may help him feel more secure when his humans are away.

🐾 1 year old scruffy Chihuahua/Yorkie mix (aka Chorkie), about 18 lbs.

🐾 Sweet, affectionate, and a world-class cuddle bug
🐾 Enjoys walks, car rides, squeaky toys, and playtime
🐾 Dog-friendly and enjoys having a playful buddy
🐾 Has done well with older children
🐾 Reportedly house trained (with a little adjustment time, of course)
🐾 Will need to be crated and supported when alone as he builds confidence
Boo Boo isn’t “too much” — he’s just a little guy with a big heart who loves deeply. With the right home, patience, and routine, this scruffy sweetheart will absolutely thrive.
