Our mission is to provide temporary refuge, basic veterinary care and a pathway home for companion animals who are homeless in Douglas County so that we may create a more humane community. er, providing shelter, food and medical care to thousands of animals each year.​

Beyond the basics, each animal receives compassionate care from our staff and volunteers while they wait to be reunited with their families or to find a new home. Warm blankets, toys and treats, time spent socializing with caring people; all are a part of the animals’ experience at Saving Grace. We look forward to growing along with our community and being able to offer more programs geared towards keeping pets and their people together.

A huge thank you to Roseburg Grocery Outlet for hosting our donation drive and for their generous donations, and to all of the amazing shoppers in our community who donated supplies for the shelter pets! ❤️

It takes a lot of food, litter, treats, cleaning supplies, and other essentials to keep our shelter running each day. Did you know that donations of pet food and supplies are factored into our annual budget? Your generosity helps us stretch every dollar further, allowing us to direct more funding toward medical care, spay/neuter services, and other lifesaving programs.

For a donation, you can hire your very own all-natural pest control specialist through Saving Grace's Working Cat Program!

🐾 We currently have 8 highly motivated feline professionals seeking employment.
🐾 Available for barns, shops, warehouses, outbuildings, and other outdoor work environments.
🐾 Compensation package includes daily food, fresh water, safe shelter, and the occasional compliment about being a good kitty.

These cats may not be interested in sitting on your lap or binge-watching TV, but they excel at patrolling their territory and keeping unwanted critters on their toes. Many do best when hired in pairs, because every great employee deserves a coworker.
