☘️ RUNNING OF THE SHAMROCKS ☘️
Oklahoma Racing and Coursing Association
Vinita, Oklahoma

Sitka attended her first FastCAT event! For a first timer, she did a great job and really enjoyed the lure — she was ready to go go go!

While we only did two runs on Saturday, she will get on the track again and gather up those points!

🏁 Run #1
9.04 seconds — 22.63 mph

🏁 Run #2
9.92 seconds — 20.62 mph

Sitka’s second run showed that she does need to be an early morning runner because she got warm fast with that thick coat of hers!

Dear Customer,
Congratulations on acquiring your Yakutian Laika. Please review the following instructions for your particular model. Reading them before activation was strongly recommended… but here we are.

---

Assembly Notes

Your Yakutian Laika arrives fully assembled—however, due to their Siberian engineering, we cannot guarantee that all internal screws are tight. Some may rattle. Some may be missing. This is considered normal and not grounds for a return. Ever.

---

Mode 1: Silent Snow Ninja

Activated when outside in cold weather. Your Yakutian will become eerily quiet, glide like a ghost, and pretend to hear things you cannot. This is standard behavior. Do not attempt to question it.

Mode 2: The “I Saw a Spirit” Zoomies

Due to ancient coding from their sled-dog ancestors, your Yakutian may go from peacefully lounging to a full-blown sprinting tornado with zero warning or explanation.
No, we cannot disable this.
No, you didn’t imagine it.

---

Snow Settings

Do not leave your Yakutian Laika outside in snow unsupervised for too long. They will not freeze—quite the opposite. They will supercharge.
Excessive charging may lead to spontaneous zoomies, excessive singing, or attempts to drive an imaginary sled team through your living room.

---

Sound System

Yakutians come with a multi-modal vocal interface:

Woo-woo mode

Car-alarm mode

Mysterious Arctic yodel mode

“I saw a bird 3 miles away” alert mode

Volume control is not included.

---

Naming Suggestions

Your Yakutian Laika comes unnamed, as we encourage creativity. However, the following names are frequently used by owners:

Why are you wet?

Get back here!

I just cleaned that

Leave the cat alone

Spit that out

No singing at 3am

Don’t unplug that

Seriously?

Not again

Put the chicken down

Who chewed this?

I said NO (the dog’s name remains “NO,” forever)

---

Software

Your Yakutian is installed with top-tier features:

Loyalty Chip

Shadow-You Around Chip

“I Work Best In Snow” Module

Sing-the-Song-of-My-People Codec

Chaos Engine v4.7
All running on the Arctic Gremlin Operating System (AGOS 9.3).
Updates are automatic and usually activate at 2am.

🐾 Every breeder knows this moment, that little buzz on your phone a few days after a puppy goes home.

The message starts sweet, “we love him, but…”

And you already know what’s coming next. But he barks. But he nips. But he cries at night. But he’s just “a lot.”

And it breaks your heart a little every time, because what they’re describing isn’t a “problem.”

It’s a puppy.

A baby learning the world outside of their mom and littermates. They’re confused, overstimulated, excited, and scared…sometimes all at once. And that’s normal.

But people today want easy.

People want the version they see online…the one that sits calmly, never chews a shoe, and somehow knows “sit” by eight weeks.

They forget that behind every well-mannered dog is someone who put in the work, the patience, the boundaries, the grace.

People want the love without the learning curve.

Even the most beautifully raised puppies don’t come pre-programmed. They come ready to grow with you. To learn your rhythms, your tone, your energy. They don’t need perfection, they need patience.

Some people confuse an easy puppy with a good one. But the truth is, every puppy is good they’re just new. And new things are messy before they’re magical.

As breeders, we see it all. We comfort the ones who come back scared, unsure, wondering what they did wrong. We remind them softly, “you didn’t do anything wrong, baby.” Because it’s never their fault that someone wasn’t ready for the hard parts that make the best parts possible.

Raising a puppy isn’t instant. It’s sleepless nights, puddles on the floor, little teeth on fingers, and the sweetest bond you’ll ever build.

A puppy isn’t a project, or a phase, or something to “try.” It’s a commitment. A piece of your heart on four legs. If you’re not ready for the messy parts of puppyhood, that’s okay. Just wait until you can give your whole heart.

Because these little souls deserve nothing less 💜 🐾

The Yakutian Laika is an ancient spitz-type breed from Siberia, developed to be a true partner to people in the far north. For centuries, they herded reindeer, hunted, pulled sleds, and lived side by side with families in some of the harshest climates on earth. Their history as a versatile working dog shaped them into what they are today — intelligent, athletic, affectionate, and always aware of their environment.

That natural awareness makes them excellent companions and guardians, but it also means early, thoughtful socialization is essential. Unlike some primitive breeds, Yakutians tend to form especially close bonds with their people, showing a playful, joyful nature in addition to their strong working drive.

They are known for their striking appearance — a thick, weather-resistant double coat, expressive almond-shaped eyes (often blue or odd-eyed), and an elegant, balanced build. Clean by nature and adaptable in the home, they thrive when given both physical exercise and mental stimulation.

Loyal, resilient, and rare outside their homeland, the Yakutian Laika embodies the spirit of the north: a devoted companion with the heart of a true working dog.
