โ€ข Loss of appetite
โ€ข Lethargy
โ€ข Abdominal pain (your dog may hunch or seem uncomfortable when picked up)
โ€ข Diarrhea
โ€ข Fever or dehydration

Some dogs are at a higher risk, especially after eating fatty foods or table scraps, but pancreatitis can happen to any dog.

If your dog is showing these signs, donโ€™t wait to see if they improve. Early diagnosis and treatment can make a significant difference. Your veterinarian may recommend bloodwork, imaging, and supportive care such as IV fluids, anti-nausea medication, and pain management.

Dr. Mike's African hunting adventure is coming to an end, and what an incredible experience it's been!

We're excited to welcome him back this Thursday. Thank you to all of our wonderful clients for your patience while he was away, and a special thank you to Dr. Nilz for providing excellent care and keeping things running smoothly during his absence.
