1) Recycle your dog food cans! Rinse them out and stick them in your bin on garbage day🥫

2) Bring a trash bag along the next time you walk your pup! While they’re taking their time sniffing you can keep busy picking up litter🚮

3) Instead of throwing them away, wash your old towels and blankets and donate them to a local animal shelter in need🐾

Do you have a gentle, well-trained dog who loves people? UW Health’s Caring Canines program is looking for therapy dog teams to visit patients and staff at UW Health Swedish American facilities in the Rockford area. 🐾

Requirements:
✔️ Dogs must know basic obedience commands and be friendly with other dogs
✔️ Owners must be at least 18 years old
✔️ Commit to one year of service, with two visits per month

🐶 Tryouts are in June, and pre-registration is required! Only about 10% of evaluated dogs will be invited, so if you think your pup is a great fit, apply today! 👉 https://www.uwhealth.org/caring-canines
