September Classes!
Its time for fall classes!!!
Puppy (ages 10 weeks to under 8 mo) 8 weeks of in person learning and 2 weeks of pre-class video homework. We will learn focus, enrichment and impulse control through fun games. We will also train sit, 2 recalls, down, leash walking, sit with greeting, mat, send to mat, stays with duration and verbal distraction, drop it, leave it and more! In person class begin Monday 9/15 at 7pm. Cost $160
Beginner scentwork. All ages. 8 weeks of in person learning, includes supplies. Whether you want (or need) a game to wear out your dogs brain, want to help increase confidence, want to join a huge Rocking Paw community of scentwork dogs or just looking for something fun....this sport is for you! It doesnt matter your age or athleticism or the dogs, its fun for both! We will train AKC odor (birch, anise, clove and cypress) and teach your dog how to hunt and tell you when they find odor. We will work with all 4 elements: interior, exterior, buried and containers and also teach HD (handler discrimination) this is where they find your odor!
Class begins Tuesday 9/9 at 8pm cost $175
Community Canine. This is the 4th level 0f our classes. Must have been in our CGC class to join this level. 7 weeks of class and evaluation.
Beginning Saturday 9/6 at 1 or 2pm (we will have 2 classes if we have over 10 students) Dates are kind of crazy since Ill be traveling this fall. Planned dates are: 9/6, 9/20, 10/4, 11/1, 11/22, 12/6 and graduating on 12/13.
Disc! This is a pay as you come class. Thursday at 6pm. We will teach a new Updog game each week! Lot of fun, music and laughs! Please see the other post that gives more details.
