I am proud of the farmers in my family. My grandpa came from Holland. Raised 12 kids on a farm. Another who came from Sweden. I have had farmers who raised mint, pigs, asparagus, chickens, grasses. Over 20 of their kids and None of that generation continues to work the fields.
Yet they got married, and had families. And they need food. And they keep going. Even if you want organic or plant based food, a farmer has to get it to you.
So, from the bottom If my heart, Thank you to the backbone of civilization.
