A New Chapter at East Rome Animal Clinic

After 50 incredible years of dedicated service, compassionate care, and unwavering commitment to the pets and families of our community, Dr. Richard Dixon has officially retired. His legacy is woven into every part of our clinic, and we are endlessly grateful for the decades he spent caring for generations of beloved animals. Please join us in thanking Dr. Dixon for his lifetime of service and wishing him a joyful and well-deserved retirement!

We are also excited to share that, effective today, Dr. Levi Wood and Dr. Hali Wood (Dr. Hali) have officially purchased East Rome Animal Clinic. Dr. Levi Wood and Dr. Hali Wood—a husband-and-wife team—are honored to continue the high standard of care that Dr. Dixon/Dr. Wood have established.

While we will continue to operate as East Rome Animal Clinic (ERAC), the practice will now be owned by Wood Veterinary Services, LLC, and we remain 100% privately owned.

Together, Dr. Levi and Dr. Hali Wood are committed to treating every pet and their family with the same compassion, respect, and dedication that has defined ERAC for decades.

Thank you for trusting us with your pets. We look forward to continuing this journey with you—past, present, and future.

💛 Happy World Kindness Day 💛

Today reminds us that kindness doesn’t have to be grand — sometimes it’s found in the smallest moments:
a gentle pat on a furry head, a soft word to calm a nervous pet, or a hand reaching out to help someone in need. 🐾

Every day, we’re blessed to see kindness in action — from the way our clients love and care for their pets to the compassion our team shares with every patient who walks through our doors. 💕

Kindness heals. It comforts. It connects us — human and animal alike.
So today (and every day), let’s choose to be the reason someone feels loved, safe, and seen. 🌟

🐶🐱 From all of us at East Rome Animal Clinic, thank you for spreading kindness in our community. You make the world a better place — one wag, one purr, and one act of love at a time. 💛
