🚨 Urgent Plea from P.A.W.S. 🚨
This July alone, Public Animal Welfare Services (P.A.W.S.) has taken in 197 animals — and we are now completely out of space. We are heartbroken to say that we are once again facing the devastating reality of having to euthanize adoptable animals simply because we have no room left.
These are good animals. Loving, friendly furbabies who deserve a second chance — and their lives now hang in the balance.
Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to find homes, reunite pets with their families, and coordinate rescue transports. But we can’t do this alone.
At this moment our rescue van — the very vehicle that has helped save hundreds of lives — is no longer safe to drive and needs to be replaced. This means
💔Rescue transports are on hold.
💔 Kennels are overflowing.
💔 More animals arrive daily.
We need your help — now more than ever.

When life feels overwhelming, find your way back to the things that ground you.

Whether it’s painting, writing, or simply doodling in a notebook—creative outlets are powerful tools for stress relief and mental health. They remind us to pause, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves.

Today, I challenged myself by combining my love for photography with my passion for horses. Don "Artie" Arturro was the perfect, picturesque model and true gentleman—always happy to work for treats and kisses. This image may be far from perfect, but it marks the beginning of a journey. Learning requires us to start somewhere, and I can’t wait to fine-tune my skills while sharing moments and affection with amazing animals.

Growth isn’t just about career milestones—you’re never done learning! Picking up a new hobby or revisiting an old passion can spark joy and keep your mind active in the best way. 🌟

Meet my boyfriend for the week—Noah. Not so tall, dark, and handsome with the most loving eyes and a personality that keeps you smiling. He’s always happy to see you, adores chiropractors and veterinarians, and has a sneaky side that keeps you on your toes. Just when you think you’re focused in class, here comes that cold nose, followed by a head in your lap—classic Noah. Love you, buddy! Can’t wait to see you again in the fall.

Yesterday, I had such a lovely time with one of my favorite chiropractors, Dr. Shayla! She brought her adorable fur babies over, and they absolutely soaked up all the chiropractic love and attention. They were so sweet, showering with snuggles and kisses!

**Update on Tabitha!**

We can all learn a valuable lesson from Tabitha’s journey: never give up, stay strong in our resolve, and love wholeheartedly.

This mama is truly amazing! Last weekend, I had the chance to visit Tabitha, and look at how far she has come! Truly remarkable.

I love what I do—it’s my passion, and every day I am grateful for the opportunity to help animals and families in need.

P.S. I can never resist stealing a little sugar from little Haven. ♥️♥️♥️ She has stolen my heart! Born weighing just 8 ounces, she is now thriving and healthy.

Last week, I was tagged in a post about Tabitha, a mama goat who had endured a traumatic delivery and was unable to stand or walk on her own. Moved by her story, I tried to help Harmony Lane Farm and Creamery LLC find a local, certified animal chiropractor—but the search came up short. That’s when I felt the call to serve and support this sweet "Farmily" in Smithville, TN.

Although it was beyond my usual travel radius, I knew in my heart it was exactly where I needed to be—and I’m so incredibly grateful we made the journey on Monday morning. Just 24 hours later, after a full day working with my two-legged practice members, my heart nearly exploded with joy as I watched Tabitha stand up on her own. Her remarkable progress brought tears of happiness and served as a beautiful reminder of the power of love from her farmily, dedication, chiropractic care, and the collective strength of prayers.

My role in Tabitha's recovery was small compared to the overwhelming prayers, love, and care from so many near and far, as well as the unwavering support of her incredible farmily. Thank you for reminding me why I’m so passionate about what I do, and why I do it. And to the Man above, thank you for the gift and the privilege to serve in your name. I would make that journey all over again just to witness her triumph! 🙏❤️
