During La Porte County Fair the clinic will be open, BUT we will have altered hours as well as NO DOCTOR appointments available. Technician appointments will continue.

If you need any medications refilled, CONTACT THE CLINIC AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Work weird hours? No problem, TEXT the clinic at any time of day and we will be in touch during operating hours. We can not guarantee medications will be able to be refilled in a timely manner during the week of July 5-12.

Boom goes the sky in a dazzling display,
But poor little Max wants to hide far away.
His tail’s tucked tight, his eyes full of dread—
Those fireworks booming mess with his head.

So I pick up the phone, give the vet clinic a ring,
“Can we get something calm for our trembling king?”
The tech says, “Of course, we’ll help him out fast,
No pet should be frightened while fireworks blast.”

Now Max has his meds, he’s snug in his bed,
While colors explode way over his head.
So here’s to the pups and the cats feeling fret—
Don’t forget to call early, and check with your vet!

The 4th of July is only 2 weeks away! Just a reminder we are CLOSED on the holiday, so please call in now to have medication filled for your pet.

[Reminder: All medications have a minimum of 24 hours to fill and be ready for pickup. Medications are not permitted to leave without Doctor approval and signature. Thank you for respecting our policy]

Overdue Update.

If you follow along with our page, a few months ago we posted about two very sweet, not chipped, and not fixed female dogs. As time went by, no owners were found. We were to believe that these dogs may have been used for breeding and did not serve purpose anymore in their old situation.

During this time the staff at Oak Knoll took turns caring for these girls, and one staff member fell in love with their cheerful personalities.

We would like to formally introduce Aspen (Bernese Mountain Dog) and Goldie (Golden Retriever), who now belong to one of our newest team members, Elizabeth Crawford.

Clients: you are able to go around the sign to get to the clinic, if there are any road workers present you’re more than welcome to ask them if it’s okay to go through

Sheriff Bruno- Being your Veterinarian for the past 6+ years has been nothing short of incredible. Your silly antics, begging for treats🙈 and weight management conversations would often times have me laughing. It was truly a joy having you and Joe come to the clinic. We will miss you💔. I also want to thank my husband and staff for their compassion and dedication (coming in on their days off even) to help. Thank you Jen and Aliesha for helping me with Bruno's final goodbye.
