Our next doggie month is November and like the pumpkin spiced lattes, this dog also has a spicy side. This is Willow, an absolute sweetheart until the dreaded comb or nail clippers come out. Willow is the fur baby of the owner so of course her spiciness is just one of her many qualities that make her an ideal dog for staff training 😂, a job which she does with much pride. Willow is sweet, spicy, and loves the cold which makes her a perfect November dog! 🧡

Ice & Pool fund! For the first summer ever we are introducing an ice fund for our lovely pups 😂. Today was the first day we got out the ice and pools, donated by one of our lovely employees, for the dogs enjoyment! It is safe to say, they had a splendid time 🩵. With our daycare dogs having a spectacular day in the nice weather, now seems like the perfect time to talk more about daycare and what that looks like for you and your pet!

We have several yards available for boarding and daycare dogs as well as various types of kennels; including small cottages, indoor/outdoor runs, and large indoor kennels. With daycare or boarding each dog(s) is assigned a kennel and let out to play into various yards several times throughout the day. We offer toys, pools (during summer), and treats throughout the day as well!

Our staff is at facility from 7 am till 6 pm with drop-off and pick-up being from 730-530 M-F.

Daycare can range from half day to full day with mornings, afternoons, and both being available time slots for your dog.

For weekday daycare the price is 10 dollars for a half day more than 3 hours and 15 for a full day more than 5 hours. 3 hours and under is 5 dollars for those that just need to run some errands. If you want siblings to attend, its 5 additional dollars per dog.

-3 hours = $5
3+ hours = $10
5+ hours = $15

Siblings = $5 per addition

For those planning on doing daycare on a schedule here are some of our package deals!

Daycare 2 days a week: 20 dollars

Daycare 3 days a week: 30 dollars

Daycare 4 days a week: 40 dollars

Daycare 5 days a week: 50 dollars, siblings free

Daycare is designed for socialization, for parents whose fur babies need somewhere to have fun during the day, and for short errand runs. Your dog can either be tagged as "social" meaning to let them play with other dogs, "unsure" play only with supervision in yard, and "lone wolf", no friends today, thank you. Dogs will be watched at all times while playing with friends! Daycare is great for dogs who are energetic, shy at first, needing a nap away from home, or who love or don't love friends, any dog is welcome!

Our next month is Octoberrrr and our dog isn't a dog at all but a CAT! Meet Mary Beth, this sweet girl is all vibes and cattitude. She loves giving growls to spooky things like bugs. She enjoys being brushed, being treated like the queen she is. Mary Beth goes trick or treating everyday and always gets her treats! Just like October she loves to be cozy and be watching the outside. She has the gorgeous colors of leaves on a dark October night, what a spectacular cat! 🧡🧡🧡🧡

It has been brought to our attention that our grooming being limited to dogs, cats, and Guinea pigs is unfair to our other animal companions! So to combat this Shadowood is now offering basic rabbit and horse grooming! For rabbits its brushing and nails. For horses its a wash and a brush. To schedule an exotic animal, just give us a call. Prices start at $25 for rabbits and $45 for horses. We look forward to seeing the fur babies ❤️.

Bath alert! This is a not a prank! 😋 The first week of April, 6-10th, will be our doggies spring cleaning, which means its walk in bath week! You can come in any time during those days and we will give your pup a bath, plus nail trim or brush per request. Standard baths range from 15, 20, 30 dollars for small, medium, and large dogs. Nail trims are 5 dollars and a brush over is 5 dollars. Cats of course are welcome and Guinea pigs are free!
