Hey all. We bring this msg publicly to announce that it is with such a heavy and sorrowful heart that we will be shutting down AERRS. 😢😞💔

The bottom line.. we simply did not get the support and resources that we needed to keep us going. 90% of operations, management, funding, and social media was resting heavily on only one person’s shoulders. Because of this, Stefani gave everything.

I, Stefani, tried my absolute best with everything I had to ensure the safety and well being of all the animals in our care as well as maintaining personal relationships that meant everything to me. 2025 delivered such an incredible blow with many challenges and much loss. Now, in just 48hrs in 2026, I have to face the reality that I have lost everything. My health has deteriorated significantly. My stress levels and anxiety hung out at an all time high which has led me to losing control of the life that I dreamt about for so long.

Life lesson is finally learned. Sometimes the fight is just not worth the loss. It doesn’t matter who’s right or who’s wrong. At the end, everyone still loses.

If you know of anyone who would be willing to immediately foster/adopt, we need you to reach out now. Please. Help.

Hey everyone! As we bring this year to a close (thankfully.. it’s been a tough one), we hold on to our loved ones and focus on the positivities ahead ❤️‍🩹

We are in the process of purchasing land 🙌, we have made some awesome contacts and are looking forward to the adventures the new year will bring!

It is with a completely shattered heart that I write this post. 💔 The broken heart emoji unfortunately just doesn’t express the level of hurt and emptiness I currently feel.

Two of our beloved pigs were killed last night by dogs that we were trying to help. All because AERRS leans primarily on one person, me. There are a few wonderful and dear friends that try their hardest to help but nonetheless, it’s an incredibly tough and constant uphill mountain of one obstacle after another with the scarce and limited resources we have. The dogs broke out of their shared kennel run and attacked Hammie and Mimi, who devestatingly were not able to survive their injuries.

I have reached out to many people within the last year for help. To those of you who are doing the best you can and supporting us to the best of your ability, thank you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Please don’t give up on us.

To everyone else, if all you want is cute videos to make you feel good and you still do nothing to try and help, understand the hard reality of running a rescue is every day obstacles and exhaustion of everything; time, money, energy, mental capacity. Every rescue needs all of the support they can get. It’s not easy, requires a million sacrifices and takes determination and will, beyond what the normal human is capable of. So every little bit of help is crucial.

WE NEED IMMEDIATE FOSTER HOMES for 12 dogs or the tough reality is some of them will be put down this week. Are they friendly with humans and kids? 100%. Should they be around livestock? Some of them, absolutely not.

Rest in Peace my beloved Hammie and Mimi. I know you are with our beautiful black beauty, Tink. My heart is with all of you. 😢
