Say hello to Roxy! We started her training a few days ago and her mom says she’s doing well! She said she’s been able to take her in walks and her pulling in the leash has greatly improved! Next, we’ll tackle her kennel attitude! She greatly protests to being in the kennel when mom is home, but then she’ll potty on the floor 😭. We’re going to work on reducing her barking in the kennel so mom can begin using space as a resource, and mom can make sure that Roxy earns her free time with NOT having accidents! !

Don’t forget! If you’ve completed training with me, you’re welcome to join us for our Sunday Morning Pack Walks at Lake Atalanta! Think your dog will struggle to walk nicely for the full loop around the lake? That’s ok! We’ll do something else as a pack to get them back on track!

This morning, it was just me and Strider. He’s been dealing with some extra anxiety recently, so we just played fetch! Playing fetch really floods him with happy endorphins, so this was a nice adjustment we could make to the “walk” to help lift his spirits!

Prince and Lady headed out on their road trip today! After our session on Saturday, I think they’re ready! We worked on their in/out skills with the van so mom and dad will feel comfortable with them at rest stops. After a quick correction from mom, they did fantastic! I think the only draw back to all our work with vehicles is Prince thinking he gets a treat every time he gets in! 🤣

Remember how I said Prince didn’t like the car? Well check out his progress! We made it into the car yesterday over a dozen times! And the look of accomplishment on his face is so fantastic!

Then we started with Lady (smaller white spot on her chest)! She did fantastic with Tigger the cat as a distraction! My new leashes come in tomorrow, so stay tuned for her new leash color in future posts!
