Well friends, we had a few surprises come our way this fall. We wanted a two rabbits to have at the store for kids to pet; however, we ended up (unknowingly) getting 8 babies with those two rabbits! Apparently they were going to be parents lol. So, now we have 8 beautiful babies that we would like to go to good homes. They weren't raised for meat, so looking for homes that would like a pet rabbit. Thay are all very sweet. We have 4 boys and 4 girls. Most are Lionhead Rabbits, which are a more expensive breed. We are selling the Lionheads for $25 and the other for $15.

Also listed in the pictures- in July we ordered 3 buff orpington chicks- females. Well, as all of the girls grew, one stood out as towering over the other two. turns out, she is a he lol! I've been calling her "Center" like the center on a basketball team because she was so tall- now I know why. He is a really good boy- watches over the girls, isn't mean at all. We do not want babies, however, just eggs. So, if anyone is looking for a good rooster, let us know! Free to a good home.

~Minny Moments~

Our Mondays were always dedicated to our sweet Minny girl with the "Monday's with Minny" posts- showing off her funny personality and how much we loved having her around as the store not only as our store "mascot" but as part of our family. People that follow us on Facebook knows Minny and new people to the store met her and of course fell in love with her. Many of you know that our Minny has not been seen in a few months now. She was a working cat, a mouser; she went out every day hunting- many days bring us back a "present" she was so proud of- and then would sleep in the store at night. Some days she hung around the store, like rainy, sleepy days, lounging in her bed waiting on the treats she knew we would give her. Ellie Mae, our dog, would run in everyday looking for her BFF. Minny actually liked Ellie, although she would have never admitted it! I have contacted local humane societies, the Sheriff's Office, posted on lost and found and our page to find her. Everywhere I drive I look to see if I can spot her. My husband keeps her treat jar in the car, just in case. I feel like she jumped into a truck and took a ride she didn't expect and ended up in a different town. I've had customers say "Well, maybe she was taken", which I would like to think would not be the case; too many people know Minny and that she is the store cat and to take her would be crazy! So, we are changing our post title until she returns- I have not given up hope she will find her way home! We will have "Minny Moments"- posts at the store that she would love to be a part of! Thanks friends. :)
