On our small family farm, we enjoy the simple life. Among many of our goals, self sufficient living and passing that along to our children is the biggest.

Here at Stone's Hollow we strive to be as self sufficient as we possibly can. We raise our own meats (cruelty free means a huge deal to us!), we grow our own vegetables and berries, produce a majority of own dairy products (milk, cheese and eggs), and preserve a variety of our own products (jams, pickles, sauces, vegetables, etc.). We enjoy this way of life and are raising our children in hopes th

I've been reeeeeeally behind on posting all the wonderful farm things going on due to working full time at school and just being a mama! A few weeks ago, I finally was able to harvest and process my luffas! I tell ya, luffa sponges are THE BEST! They are so soft and durable, yet great exfoliates that are not harsh on your skin. I also love using them to wash dishes and they're easy to sanitize. You can just run it through the dishwasher with the dishes or soak it in a little bleach water and wring it out. Here are a few pictures from beginning to end of the process.

Been a long while since I made a post here! Been so busy juggling working at the school, being a mama and with our little homestead. Hope everyone is well! We are great and still farmin' it up! 🙂💚
