Meet **Rhyme**, a beautiful 10-year-old Calico queen who’s looking for that special someone to spend her golden years with. At approximately 13 pounds, this sweet senior girl is ready to trade the stress of change for the comfort of a calm, loving forever home.

Rhyme has spent years being a loyal companion, and outside of recent stress in her previous home, she has been described as an affectionate, gentle cat who loves her people and enjoys simply being near the ones she trusts.

She’s looking for a peaceful, dog-free home where she can settle in at her own pace, roam freely, and rediscover the comfort and security every cat deserves. Think cozy windowsills, quiet evenings, and a best friend who will always be there.

Is anyone missing a neutered male Chocolate Lab approx. 8-10 years old and a male French Bullldog? They were found off of Caruth Lakes Ln in Rockwall on 06/01/26. No microchips. No collars. These two are currently on stray hold for the next 72 hours to allow their owners to claim them. If you recognize these dogs please call the Rockwall Adoption Center at 972-771-7750 ext 2.

Wally is still new to our shelter crew, so we are getting to know more about his personality and preferences each day. What we do know is that he is a big, handsome boy with plenty of potential and is ready for a second chance at a loving home.

Our hearts are so full as we celebrate **Ghosty and Zulu**, who officially went home with their new family yesterday! These adorable kittens started their journey with us looking for safety, love, and a second chance — and now they’ve found exactly that together. 🏡✨

There’s something extra special about bonded kittens getting to start their forever adventure side by side. From playtime zoomies to cozy cuddle naps, Ghosty and Zulu now have a lifetime of love, comfort, and companionship ahead of them.

We know their new home will be filled with purrs, mischief, and endless kitten antics, and we couldn’t be happier for these sweet babies as they begin this exciting new chapter.

Oso is a 2 year old Chow Chow weighing approximately 36 lbs who is looking for a forever home after never being reclaimed. Found wandering in downtown Rockwall, this handsome boy is now ready to find a family that appreciates his loyal and unique personality. ❤️

Oso embodies many of the classic Chow Chow traits. He is independent, observant, and forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. While he may be a little reserved at first, he warms up quickly with calm, respectful introductions and becomes a devoted companion.

Oso does well with other dogs when given slow introductions and enjoys being around people who allow him time to settle in at his own pace. Because he thrives in a calm, predictable environment, he would do best in a home with older teens or adults.

Currently living in a foster home, Oso has already shown that he settles nicely into a home environment and enjoys being close to his people once he feels comfortable.
