🌵💛 A Legend Rides Into Retirement 💛🌵

It’s with full hearts that we announce the retirement of one of our most beloved therapy horses — Cactus.

As one of the original members of the TxTRC herd, Cactus has been more than just a horse. He’s been a teacher, a partner, and a trusted friend to countless riders over the years. He’s carried riders to their first rides, first shows, and even helped some find their first words.

His quiet strength and patient spirit have helped shape the lives of so many in our TxTRC family, and we are endlessly grateful for the years of service he has given.

Now, Cactus will enjoy his well-earned retirement surrounded by love, green pastures, and gentle care — just like he gave to every rider who ever met him.

Thank you, Cactus, for every step and every moment of healing.
