Not every pup is always up for a walk and that’s totally okay! When Daisy decided she’d rather stay close to home, we took the party to the backyard! A good game of fetch keeps tails wagging, hearts pumping, and minds engaged just as much as hitting the pavement. Yard play is a great way to burn energy, build coordination, and keep dogs happy on their own terms. Every dog is different, and part of great pet care is listening to what they need! 💕🎾🐶💕

Rabid fox attacked a man and his dog, as well as separately attacking another dog in the area.

The Rockville City Police Department is advising residents in and around the Potomac Woods and Horizon Hills neighborhoods to remain alert after a rabid fox attacked a man and his dog, as well as separately attacking another dog in the area.

Residents are urged to use caution, remain aware of their surroundings, and keep pets indoors or closely supervised while outside. Avoid approaching any fox or wild animal that appears aggressive, disoriented, unusually bold, or sick.

If you observe an aggressive fox or suspicious animal activity, please contact the Rockville City Police Department immediately at 240-314-8900.
