Well… some may not know, but we decided to go big or go home and add a giant hound to the crew 😂

Everyone meet Bobby 🐾

In just one short month, this boy has completely stolen our hearts and turned into everything we didn’t know we were missing. The bond we’ve built with him already is something special, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.

And he hasn’t wasted any time making his mark either—

✨ Group 1 in NOHS (AKC)
✨ Best In Fun Show

Not too bad for the new guy 😉

And just to clear the air—our dachshunds aren’t going anywhere. They are the heart of our program and always will be. We will absolutely continue breeding, just a little more selectively and not as often.

I will NOT be breeding walkers—this one is just something for me 😉

Today we brought Brett home one last time. 🤍

Getting his ashes back was something I wasn’t sure I was ready for, but at the same time there’s a little bit of peace knowing he’s back where he belongs.

Brett, you were only with us for a short time, but you left the biggest mark on our hearts. You were perfect in every way. We would have done anything to keep you here, and we tried everything we could.

I hope you’re running pain free now, chasing all the things you love, and finally able to rest. We miss you more than words can ever explain.

You’ll always be our boy. Always. 🐾🤍
