Ruff Cuts

For anyone that is unable to have me make house calls for grooming due to lack of space/area to wash, I will soon (today or tomorrow) be in possession of a portable doggy wash station! I just need access to a water spigot, I have a hose if needed! It has a 40lb weight limit and honestly, that's fine with me because I don't really want to lift anyone more than 40lbs up into a tub. The ground is much easier over 40lbs. 😂 Anyway, I'm super excited about it and thought that I would share! Hopefully, this helps out those that may have been concerned about the bathing situation for house calls, as I don't have a mobile unit.

My apologies about the late update! Lots of 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 has been happening lately and every time I think about doing something or remember I needed to do something, I get side tracked. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Anywho, as I'm sure many already know, we are no longer located in the yellow building on 3036. The short story is this: the landlord decided after 3 years that he was finally ready to demo the property and gave us 45 days to get out.

Don't ask my why the building is still there a month later because I don't know anymore than anyone else. Unfortunately.

With that being said, I have been making house calls for anyone that has a place for me to bathe the dog and pop up a grooming table, as well as the time for me in their schedule.

The most recent update I'm regards to a new building/location is that I will know by the 15th of Ruff Cuts will officially be moving into a new building/location. Final decision is still pending, so stayed tuned! I'll post the final update once I know. In the meantime, I'm still making house calls. Feel free to call or text me at (325) 864-3466. TEXT would be best or if you call and can't reach me, text me after to let me know you called because chances are good, I didn't know the number so I didn't answer.

Sorry about the last minute notice, but I wanted to let everyone know that we will be accepting walk in baths all day! 25.00 for dogs up to 30lbs, 35.00 for dogs up to 50lbs and 45.00 for 51lbs and up!

We do ask that you call ahead so that we don't have everyone piled in ontop of each other and please note that this will be baths only.

Spread the word and thank you in advance! We hope to see you tomorrow. Since we are normally closed on Wednesday, hours will be 10:00AM to 5:00PM.

We will be back open for business tomorrow 07/09 and ready to rock!

If you had an appointment today, you've been moved over to Wednesday. Everyone on for tomorrow - nothing has changed. I have already sent out appointment reminders and notifications for the change. If the new day and time does not work, please feel free to reach out and we will move things around!

Due to the unpredictability of the on coming storm, we will be closed tomorrow 07/08. Though things seem to be redirecting in Rockports favor, we are still expecting heavy rainfall and high winds, so we cannot say yet for sure when we will be open. However, we will keep everyone updated and get appointments rescheduled ASAP.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that things keep moving in a positive direction and that we don't flood! We hope everyone that needed to evacuate as moved to a safer location and those that are still here are prepared! Mom always said, "Hope for the best but expect the worst" and right now, I think that's all we can do.

Stay safe, stay dry and we will see everyone when this is over!

As we bring in the new year, we will be bringing in some changes here at Ruff Cuts. I was hoping to avoid this being last minute, but I suppose last minute is better than the day of! With that being said, prices will be changing as of January 1st. We will also be making changes to the way that prices are determined. It is also possible that we may be changing our appointment scheduling process, but as of right now, nothing is set in stone.

We appreciate and thank all of you for staying with us, for being kind, understanding and ever so patient as we work out the kinks in our processes as we continue to grow! We are excited to be bringing in another year with each and every one of you and can't to see what's in store!
