Easter often involves candy, cookies and gum. Please be careful sharing these with with fur babies as any containing Xylitol could be fatal.

Please check your gum, sugar free candy/cookies and household products for Xylitol if you are a pet owner and keep them out of reach of your pets. The attached article also indicates it could be in some peanut butter, toothpaste and other household items.

What is xylitol, also called birch sugar? It's found in a lot more than you think, and it's very dangerous for your dog to ingest.
