“The Name I Had to Let Go”
I was so in love with our original name — Sit, Spot!
It was cute, simple, and perfect for what we were building.
I had the logo, the tagline, the vision… everything.
But then I found out there’s already a huge pet brand named Spot.
So basically, I had two choices:
💔 Keep it and probably get sued.
💪 Or let it go and start fresh.
It took months (and a few stubborn brainstorming sessions with Josh) to find something new.
And honestly, now I think it was meant to happen.
Say it with your best Texas twang...
Dog-on Flippin’ Mat™ 🤠🐾
Yep, it’s a play on cuss words — but it fits.
It’s bold, it’s funny, it tells you exactly what this product does.
Sometimes you have to lose the name you loved… to find the one that was meant to stick.
