It can be hard to tell when an animal is in pain, not only because of the lack of ability to communicate, but also because it is in their nature to hide signs of pain and injury. Even Justin Timberlake isn't immune to ticks! The singer recently shared that he has lyme disease, and the effects it has on his daily life. Ticks can cause just as many health problems and discomfort in animals as they do in humans. If ticks can come for a popstar, they can definitely come for your pet! And let's just say, Lyme disease is NOT bringing sexy back 🎶
Year round flea and tick prevention, as well as the yearly Lyme vaccine, are both great options to defend against Lyme disease. Give us a call if you have any questions 🐾
