Vintage Sam Moore Furniture Striped Wingback Chair, $200

This large and welcoming chair is well sought after by auction houses, especially in its original condition with original fabric. It has been sitting in my shop for over 3 years with the intent to reupholster, but now it must go. It's taking up too much space, so off it goes.. No tears or holes in fabric, but it is begging to be cleaned.. Its overall condition is excellent and solid. It is very heavy so wear your weight belt.

Restored Antique 19th-Centurey Windsor-style Wood Chair

Heavily restored and refinished early 19th century Windsor style chair.

Found on the back porch of a historic home in Woodstock, NY. After I asked about it, he owner happily gave it to me. The chair was in complete ruin and in pieces from open exposure to weather.

Of course, there is legacy damage, such as a missing upper spindle and cracks. I call this damage ‘character’, as it does not affect its worthy ability to embrace its sitter. Otherwise, the chair is solid and has beautiful wood, possibly oak.
