We really can’t believe the sweetest girl ever is still waiting for her forever home. Hazel is such a love bug. At the shelter, She loves sun bathing, treats, people, short walks and just relaxing. She can be a little shy and timid at first, but with a little time and patience this girl will shine! Sometimes it takes 2 hours to clean, sometimes it takes 5. The goal is to be done cleaning by 12pm.
You come back in, in the evening, to feed dogs and close them in for the night. This can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. This is why we are hiring 2 people for the same position. The summer months have gotten busier and busier for us and we want to be able to maintain a nice clean shelter, keep our animals clean and happy, while making sure burnout with employees is not an issue.

Sophie was adopted in July, and her human stopped by this morning to let us see her and say hi! She also had a DNA test done and her top three breeds are Great Pyrenees, American Staffordshire Terrier, and American Pit Bull Terrier. She is so sweet and looks great! Thanks for stopping to say hi Sophie!!

We have a new trainer in the community!!
If you adopt a dog from any of the local shelters, you can get a couple basic obedience classes at a discounted price.

🍷 MEET SANGRIA!🍷

This cute, 45-pound brindle girl came to us with 7 puppies, and let’s just say, she has officially retired from motherhood! Now it’s Sangria’s turn to be the baby and find a home of her very own.
At about a year and a half old, Sangria is still an older puppy herself! She’s sweet, VERY playful, and ready to bring some fun, love, and probably a little chaos into someone’s life.
What’s in Sangria? We’ll be sharing her ingredients (puppies) later this week, so stay tuned!
Is she a Boxer mix? We’ve already had people asking! The honest answer is, we have no idea! Without a DNA test, we can’t tell you what breeds make up this adorable brindle girl. We know she’s 100% cute, though!
What about other dogs? Sangria hasn’t had a full introduction to other dogs yet because she was recently spayed and is still healing. However, she’s shown some very playful body language through the fence with a couple of our dogs! A meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings will be required to make sure everyone is a good fit. This girl has spent her time raising seven babies. Now it’s time for someone to spoil HER! She deserves a family, a comfy bed, toys to play with, and a life where she gets to be the center of attention.

PUPdate!!

Bailey was part of the “Sugar” litter and was adopted in August. She is living her best life, camping, hunting, playing with her humans, dog friends and taking in all that fresh Wyoming air!!!
