DeRoos Kennels We are small time breeders, but my family has been raising dogs for as long as I can remember. We raised dogs as a family. Our dogs are still our pets.

I, Shayna, and my husband, Byron, currently raise purebred Labrador Retrievers and Springerdoodles (English Springer Spaniel/Standard Poodles). It all started with our family of 7 that lived on our farm southwest of Rock Valley for about 18 years. All of our dogs were our pets and were owned by one of the kids. It started with Labrador Retrievers and Norwegian Elkhounds in the barn. Our females we

re only bred once a year, and usually had their puppies in the summer when the kids were out of school, to have more time to help out with the puppies. Now, although the location (and last name) has changed, the goal is still the same. Located near Rock Rapids, Iowa, my husband, Byron, and I carry on the DeRoos Kennels name, raising purebred Labrador Retrievers and Springerdoodles! They roam our 7 acres and are free to live as dogs should. We only have a few and each one is loved so much.

Introducing the newest face of our program… ROCKY ✨

After months of planning and patiently waiting, we are so excited to officially introduce Rocky.

This stunning, unique black tri roan Springer Spaniel is everything we hoped for and more. His coloring is absolutely striking and one-of-a-kind, his temperament is incredible, and we truly believe he is going to bring something so special to the table.

When paired with our other Springer, Kimber, we are expecting some truly beautiful puppies this July. ✨

This pairing has been a dream in the making, and we cannot wait to share the journey with all of you.

We are so excited to see what these two will bring!!
