Today we welcomed 2 new additions to The Bunny Box. Today drove 2 hours to pick up these babies for me. First up we have Cashew. Cashew is a tri colored rex buck. He came all the way from Utah from Dunn Rabbitry. Thank you so much Dunn's Critter Transport for bringing him all the way here. 100% recommend them and will be using them in the future. Next up we have Cadbury. Cadbury is a chocolate otter rex doe. She came from Three Strands Acres. Thank you all so much. So excited for the new additions. They are settling in inside for a few days before joining the rest of the rabbits.

Our first litter of the year has arrived! Rose welcomed 8 kits sometime today while I was at work. Hopefully the freezing temps over the next week doesn't cause any issues. Fingers crossed. More pictures to come once it warms up a little.

I've been absolutely terrible with posting updates. But......I have 3 tri colored rex's that will be ready for new homes in 2 weeks. 2 does and 1 buck. They are fully pedigreed. I can get more pictures upon request.

3 week update on Rose's litter. Unfortunately, out of 6 kits we only have one survivor. Rose was a first time mom and although she made a great nest, at a few days old she took out a majority of the nest and left the nesting box very bare. That night temperatures dropped to 43 degrees. All but one baby passed away. But on the bright side, our one survivor is doing amazing.
