We wrapped up summer in style by spending our Labor Day weekend at the ASAM Summer Spectacular in Deerfield.

We debuted some new teams, new divisions, and new goals with great success, but more important than all of that was the time spent together with our barn family! We laughed, cried, and hugged, we embarrassed the teenagers, we found butterflies and blew bubbles, and the girls rode their hearts out in honor of their friend Viv. We are so grateful to our wonderful Morgan horses and amazing friends who helped us make great memories all weekend ❤️

Absolutely heartbroken to share the news of the passing of a very dear member of our barn family ❤️ there are no words to say here but her love and light will be missed so much

Our hearts are broken as we share the passing of our beloved Vivian Dalee Jones on Friday, August 22, 2025, after a yearlong battle with cancer. Vivians time with us was far too short but she filled our lives with joy, laughter, love and a little sass every single day.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and reached out to support our blood drive and fundraiser for Boston Children’s Hospital!

We filled all available spots at the blood drive and successfully collected 34 units of blood that can help up to 136 patients at Boston Children’s Hospital. These children can receive transfusions several times a week as they fight against cancer and other illnesses and so your help was crucial and important!

With the help of our friends at Bernier Racing and we raised almost $5,000! This money will be donated to several causes near and dear to our hearts: Boston Children’s Hospital, and Theraputic riding program.

Tommy’s Place, located in Falmouth, is a dream vacation home for children fighting canter and their families. Our friend Viv spent a week here in December and had a wonderful time-donations help other kids to experience it!

Easter Seals Equestrian Center is located in Bridgewater and provides a full therapeutic equine program for children and adults with disabilities. This is a cause that is very important to Viv and her family and we are proud to support it!

So thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to our blood donors, raffle prize donors, vendors who volunteered their time and products during the event, raffle purchasers and monetary donors, Rochester Fire department, our barn family and friends, and so many more! This event made our hearts full and helped us all to remember what is important-that horses are a great excuse to come together as a community and help others ❤️

We are already looking forward to making this an annual event!

UPDATE: Thanks to your help, we have booked all available appointments! We are waiting to hear if they can add more or accept walk ins. We are trying to have the bone marrow matching registry come as well and we still welcome all to join us for a day of friends and fun in Viv’s honor!

Farm tours, horses to pet, and pony rides for children will be available to all who come by, and anyone who makes an appointment to donate will receive a raffle ticket for one of our great donated prize baskets!

Horses are home and all settled in from an incredible week at the New England Morgan Horse Show. We brought 4 young horses to compete in a wide variety of divisions from in hand to sport horse to road hack and western with great success!

Our horses and riders had tons of fun and learning moments plus lots of fun parties, lunches, and golf cart laughs. Big thanks to everyone who helped this week run smoothly (especially my girls at home who took care of the farm so I never had to think about it-you ladies are the best!)

Already looking forward to heading back to Northampton next July!

Carol Speer and Bare Elegance enjoyed a beautiful ride this morning before we headed for home!

They left the ring with a 3rd place ribbon and a photo with the man, the myth, the legend behind our beautiful stall set up: Ross Speer. We are so lucky to have his expertise and assistance with this project every year and we appreciate everything he does to keep the farm in working order!

Mario and Ocho finished up our time in the dressage ring with great success! Smash Hit is the Intro Dressage High Point Champion with Dayod’s Rosas Son taking reserve with Makayla Dupé. We sure are pleased with these handsome sporty geldings!
