This is my sweet 17 year old tabby Ella. The queen b of our household now. She and Ash never really got along so she’s handling being the only kitty just fine. Eric and I are doing ok as well. We wanted to thank everyone for their lovely messages about Ash. As a cat community we all know how much it hurts to lose a friend.
I’ve been a bit quiet lately on Facebook. Social media can be overwhelming and exhausting at times for me so stepping back and taking a break helps. Just wanted to thank you and let you know all is well😊💗🐈‍⬛

17 years ago Eric and I went to pick up a tabby kitten to bring her home and we saw Ash as well. We weren’t expecting to bring two kittens home but Ash won us over and she and her tabby sister got a home with us. Today we had to say goodbye to our sweet Ash.
Ash has always been our quiet kitty. She was an observer and shy. She had so many funny quirks that made her uniquely her. In her younger days she was the best bug catcher and there wasn’t a wand toy or string she didn’t love. In her older years her personality really shined. She became more affectionate and bonded to us. I will be lonely without her at night since my chest was her favorite place to sleep.
We love you Ash. The house won’t be the same without you♥️🐾
