π¦ Hello my friends!
I hope you all know I try to operate on a 100% transparency policy. I have had a new litter of hedgehogs I've been keeping a bit of a secret. They were born May 1st and then as soon as I was able to safely handle them after the two week waiting period, I had a "little" kitchen accident that resulted in 8 stitches in my dominant hand. I'm sure you can all imagine what handling hedgehogs is like with deep cuts and stitches! I did my best, but these are not the "life proof" babies I am proud of socializing.
Babies are now about 4 weeks and my hand is feeling better so I've been working with them much more but they are not where I want them to be. They are still young enough that with a lot of bonding I have faith they can be wonderful pets. The adoption fee for 3 out of 4 of these babies is greatly discounted to reflect this! These babies will likely do best in a home that is already experienced with hedgehog behavior, but we can certainly chat about expectations for them if you are new to hedgehogs ππ¦
RJ1 is incredibly friendly and outgoing still!
RJ2 will un-ball and is more handleable, but still nervous.
RJ3 & RJ4 have only come out for me with the *warm water trick* and then were pretty handleable, but will need a lot of TLC.
As always, reserving your new spikey friend is first come, send me a message with any interest and questions!
