Congratulations to Jonathan and Sydney and their dog Jimmie for becoming a Therapy Dog team today!

Jimmie has the most amazing story that A Confident Dog has ever seen. When Jimmie was a puppy he was placed with Jonathon to be trained as a Seeing Guide Dog. Jonathon got Jimmie to a good place with his training and was placed with a person in need of a Guide Dog. When Jimmie left Jonathon, he told the Seeing Guide Dog organization that when Jimmie retires he wants him back.

Many years later, Jimmie was forced to retire early due to chronic ear infections. The organization called Jonathon and asked him if his statement was still standing. Jonathon didn't hesitate and took his good boy back. Now that Jimmie is retired, his mom and dad wanted him to have a good retirement gig. So that's when they thought, therapy work.
