Happy Birthday to our manager Lindsey!🎉

Lindsey has been working with EmBark over the last few years and is a crucial part of our business! She works so hard to ensure that the pups we watch are well taken care of and happy! Without Lindsey we would be nowhere close to where we are today, having work with over 90 different dogs!

Happy Birthday: Nicky!❤️❤️

Happy 11th Birthday to Nicky! This little guy was EmBark’s first reoccurring weekly walker! He has been walking with us since the beginning!

We are so blessed to have Nicky and his owner’s as not only our clients but our friends! Nicky has been walking twice a day everyday (minus appointments etc) with us for years! We love the bond we have been able to build over the years with him and his owners!

Dogs of the day: Sunny and Oakley!🥇

Sunny and Oakley are two Golden Retrievers we work with, and absolutely adore! Sunny is the pup of Oakley’s owners daughter, but they often do visits together!

Sunny and Oakley love going on walks together, but Oakley is the boss when it comes to which route you take! These two also love to wrestle and play tag!

They are very good at knowing when it’s play time and when it’s time to behave! They also love spending time in Oakley’s backyard and catching some rays☀️

Sunny’s owners Nicole and Stephen recently got married on July 12th, and Sunny was the flower girl! Congratulations to them!🌸

We love doing visits with these two! ❤️

Rainbow Bridge: Sandy❤️

Sandy’s age was showing, but this was still a surprise. She unexpectedly went into kidney failure, and her owners made the difficult decision to help her cross the rainbow bridge.

We don’t only see the pups we work with as our clients, we build a bond and love for them over the time we work with them. Sandy has been doing visits with us over the last few years, and truly became a part of our family.

Each visit you could expect Sandy to come barreling towards you ready to jump up and give you a big hug(also known as a body slam). Sandy was stubborn, but we loved her for it! The walk started and ended when she said so, no negotiations.

I(Logan) was blessed enough to spend some time last night with Sandy and her family. We sat there with her, petting her and hearing so many stories that showcased her goofiness and her amazing personality.

Sandy’s feline brother Edgar recently passed away, and we find joy in the idea of them being reunited to play for eternity.

We will truly miss everything about you Sandy, from playing with your toys, and specially the puppy dog eyes you’d guilt us with at the end of every visit. Fly high sweet girl you will truly be missed❤️

Dog of the Day: Drake!🔥

Drake is an XL Bully, but don’t let his intimidating size give you the wrong idea! Drake is one of the sweetest pups we work with!

Every visit we find Drake napping on his bean bag, which takes a little bit of time to get him off😂 Drake is an excellent walker, who rarely ever pulls.

When Drake isn’t walking he loves to go into his backyard, and sun bathe.

We started working with Drake a few months back, and we are so happy to have him apart of our pack!

Dogs of the day: Arlo, Buttercup, Hank, Bud and Willie!❤️

Many of you may know our manager Lindsey, what you may not know is that she has a total of (in her words “Only” 16 animals!!

Including:
6 chickens
5 dogs
2 parrots
1 hamster
1 frog
1 fish

Lindsey is very experienced in caring for all sorts of animals, and the Jansen Zoo run by her and her son max is a big reason why!

First is Arlo, the young vibrant mastiff. Although she her size can be intimidating, she’s truly a sweetheart. Next is Bud, the large hound mix who again despite his size is a quiet gentle giant. Hank is another hound mix who again is a sweet and gentle big guy who makes sure to come up for pets whenever you visit! Willie is a sweetheart, who loves to follow her bigger siblings around! Then there is the boss Buttercup! Again don’t let her size fool you, she may be small but she is definitely the alpha! She is super sweet and loves to sit in your lap!

We love and appreciate Lindsey so much here at EmBark! Without her we wouldn’t be even close to where we are today! Looking forward to our upcoming visits with her pups while she enjoys her much deserved vacation at the end of July!

Dog of the day: Bella!🎀

Bella is a adorable Shih-tzu, and is truly a princess. You do not take her on a walk, she tells you where to walk her. This sweet girl loves her walks, and loves wearing her pink harness or pink fluffy coat when it’s cold!

Bella walks with us twice a day, seven days a week! We absolutely adore this little princess! Make sure to always remember she’s in charge!❤️

Dogs of the Day: Coco and Penny!🍫🪙

These two pitty sisters are the sweetest! Penny is an old lady who loves to kick back and relax. She is a big time cuddler, making sure she’s right in your armpit during the overnight. When she’s not sleeping next to you she loves sleeping in her owner’s daughter’s bunk bed, blending in with all of the stuffed animals.

Coco is a young energetic pitty who absolutely loves her long walks. She never lets you out of her sight, always laying by your chair or by the couch.

These two also love to wrestle, which keeps Penny young! Personal space is also a foreign concept for them, they absolutely love each other! We absolutely love spending the week with these two while their owners are away!

These two both have slight reactivity, but their owners have done an amazing job working with them! There is a huge stigma behind reactive dogs, and many are overlooked in adoption scenarios or returned when owners see them as too much of a project. These two are an example to all that reactivity can be worked on and overcome! Many people wouldn’t have given these pups a chance, but the Fletcher family has gone above and beyond for these pups giving them an amazing life!
