Cypress Lucky Mutt Rescue is a Houston, TX foster based dog rescue. We transport adopted dogs to NY. We want only the best for the pups in our program.

Our transports typically depart Houston, TX and head to Rochester, NY twice a month. Adoptable dogs are posted on this page (as well as on our Texas page - https://www.facebook.com/luckymuttrescuecypress) and once adoptions are finalized, the dogs are scheduled on the next available transport. All dogs are fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and, if age allows, spayed/neutered. We all volunteer o

Inspired by the stunning Northern Lights, Aurora is a gorgeous, 5-month-old, white Husky puppy, with mesmerizing sky-blue eyes that seem to glow like icy glaciers under the night sky. ❄️💙 Her luminous coat and captivating gaze make her a true beauty — a puppy born to shine!

Aurora is a lively, affectionate, and playful girl who loves making new furry friends. She especially enjoys playing with other dogs and is always ready for a fun game or a cozy cuddle afterward. She’s currently working on her potty training and is doing great with a little patience and guidance.

Aurora has not been cat or kid tested. She is an energetic pup we feel she would do well with experienced kids over the age of 8.

Aurora will come with 2 rounds of puppy shots, she will be spayed, and microchipped. All dogs in our care are dewormed several times and given heartworm and flea and tick medication.

Milo may have the long legs of a supermodel and the ears of a satellite dish, but don’t let his looks fool you—this goofy, lovable pup is as sweet as they come!

At around 7 months old, Milo is still figuring out the world (and where exactly he’s supposed to p*e), but he’s crate trained, great with kids, friendly with other dogs, and even gives cats a respectful nod. He’s the kind of pup who will snuggle on the couch one minute and zoom around the yard the next.

Milo’s working hard on his potty training—he promises he mostly gets it, but hey, nobody’s perfect. He makes up for it with charm, smarts, and a wag that could power a small fan.

Help Biscuit Heal 💔🐾

Sweet little Biscuit is only 12 weeks old, and he's already endured more pain than any puppy should.

Rescued from an abusive situation, he came to us with multiple abrasions—clear signs of the neglect he’s suffered.

Just today, while in the loving arms of his foster parent, Biscuit had a tragic accident. He jumped, landed hard on his front legs—and broke both of them.

He’s now at the emergency vet, in pain but bravely holding on. To heal properly, Biscuit needs urgent surgery, followed by extensive recovery and care.

Our rescue is operating on extremely limited funds, and Biscuit’s medical bills are growing fast. We’re reaching out to our community to ask for help. Every dollar counts, and your support could be the reason this brave puppy
gets the second chance he so deeply deserves.

I’m a 5-month-old pittie/husky mix with the perfect blend of s***k and snuggles, currently weighing in at a very huggable 31 lbs. I'm basically the best of both worlds—I can zoom around the yard like a goofball one minute, then curl up for a cozy nap the next. Balance, baby.

People keep telling me I have an amazing temperament (fancy words, but I think it means I’m just awesome). I’m a big believer in positive vibes—and positive reinforcement! I love playing with my foster dog siblings and have a magical way of getting other pups to fall for me. As for humans? One look into these puppy-dog eyes, and you’re done for. Trust me.

This handsome boy is CB, and he is sure to steal your heart if you give him a chance! He is searching for his forever home to spend the rest of years. CB is a beautiful 6.5 year old lab/pit mix. He has been searching for someone to call his own for some time now. CB stays optimistic though knowing that his person just has not found him yet.
