🚔 Great work! What are the chances Igo finds and apprehends this guy twice?! Some people never learn.

Early this morning, K9 Igo and his handler were in the area when Olympia Police Department officers attempted to contact a known wanted suspect. The suspect then fled on his bicycle and continued on foot through downtown Olympia. The suspect was wanted on felony warrants. Despite multiple warnings, the suspect continued to run, and K9 Igo was deployed and safely took him into custody.

Unfortunately for him, this wasn’t his first encounter with Igo. This is now the SECOND time K9 Igo has apprehended the same suspect. The first time was back in 2025 after a vehicle pursuit and foot chase, where the suspect was ultimately found hiding under a deck.

While being treated after the arrest, the suspect looked up and asked, “Same dog?”

Yes. Yes it was.
