Pawsitive Steps Rehabilitation and Therapy for Pets provides physical medicine, rehabilitation, acupuncture, spinal manipulation and pain management services for small animals. Planning for veterinary orthotic & prosthetic development and coaching the entire family through the process along with the rehabilitation care along the way is another unique service that we offer. Additionally, we can dev

elop an individualized fitness/conditioning programs for athletes and weight management programs too. We are passionate about physical medicine and its benefits for animals. We share photos and videos of many of our patients as they work towards recovery from orthopedic and neurologic conditions, along with some post-operative cases to help educate others about the benefits of rehabilitation therapy for animals.

This week's is an amazing success story. This beautiful girl is Rosa a 6 year old Rottweiler. We first met Rosa in November of 2025. She came to us for muscle conditioning to address significant muscle atrophy that occurred after a major illness. While her rehabilitation process was long and slow, Rosa achieved significant progress, largely due to the dedication, compliance, and love from her wonderful family! Since beginning therapy, Rosa has improved muscle strength (she has gained a whopping 13 cm of muscle mass in each hind limb) and has improved energy and stamina. We are so proud to see Rosa graduate from rehabilitation therapy!
