It was a VERY HOT, windy weekend in Eastern Iowa, but Izzy got it done!! Two legs toward her AKC Junior Hunter are done. The judges came up with challenges for the dogs on the retrieves, but it was a very good, thought out hunt on both days. Changes in cover, elevation, etc. but most of the dogs were up to the challenge!!

Since Dan was off doing a hunt test with Izzy, in which she passed the second leg of her AKC Junior Hunt Test, he brought home a duck to use the feathers for the puppies noses. So before he does anything with the wings, he decided to give the puppies their main experience of the day by introducing them to a whole dead duck. Prior to the duck the puppies are playing and having a bitey face play time with each other. Enjoy!
