Broodmares, like all horses, require regular dental care to maintain their overall health and well-being. Here are some reasons why broodmares need dentals:

1. Prevents pain and discomfort: Dental problems can cause pain and discomfort, affecting their appetite, behavior, and performance.
2. Maintains proper nutrition: Proper dental health ensures they can chew and digest food efficiently, essential for their health and the health of their foals.
3. Supports reproductive health: Dental issues have been linked to reproductive problems, such as difficulties becoming pregnant or maintaining pregnancy. Dropping weight during or after pregnancy.
4. Reduces risk of systemic diseases: Bacterial infections from dental issues can spread to other parts of the body, leading to systemic diseases.
5. Enhances overall quality of life: Regular dental care helps prevent issues like colic, proper digestion, tooth abscesses, and gingivitis, promoting overall health and well-being.
