“Every ending makes room for a new beginning, but this one will be felt.”

It’s hard to put into words how much Taylor has meant to our team. She was someone I trusted fully. Her care for our staff, our customers, and every dog and cat here never went unnoticed. The fact that I didn’t have to worry when she was on the job says everything. I’m incredibly proud of who she’s become, and while we’ll miss her greatly, I’m excited to see where her path leads next. -Bill

Taylor has been with us for FOUR years! She greeted every customer with a smile. (Maybe some excited hops for a few regulars 😆) Taylor was a fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly teammate and trainer. We have been so lucky to have you! We will miss you and Zuko’s daycare days and look forward to check-ins! You and Patrick drive carefully and keep all your precious cargo safe on the long haul to Washington!! ❤️

Adele shows up every day with a strong work ethic, a genuine love for the dogs in our care, and a positive attitude that lifts everyone around her. She’s a fantastic teammate, a consistent performer, and truly a bright spot in our day.

This week, we are wishing a sincere farewell and good luck to Haylee, our longtime Floor Manager and teammate.

Haylee has been with Law’s for almost four years, and her love and respect for every animal in our care has always been clear. Whether she was in the yard with the pool and bubbles, snuggled up with a pup in their kennel, loving on the cats in their condos, or greeting customers in the office, Haylee brought kindness, hard work, and a high standard of care to everything she did.

We are so proud that she will be continuing that same care and quality at the Huntington County Humane Society. They, and the pets they care for, are lucky to have her.

Haylee, you will be missed greatly. We wish you all the best!!! ❤️

TICKS! ICK!!!

🐾 Protect Your Pet From Ticks! 🐾

Ticks are small, but they can carry harmful diseases that affect both pets and people. The good news? A few simple habits can help keep your furry family members safe.

✅ Use flea & tick prevention recommended by your veterinarian
✅ Check your pet after walks, hikes, or outdoor playtime
✅ Keep grass trimmed and yard areas clean
✅ Remove ticks promptly if found

⚠️ Signs to watch for:
• Lethargy
• Loss of appetite
• Limping or joint pain
• Fever
• Skin irritation

If your pet seems unwell or you find a tick, contact your veterinarian for guidance. Prevention is the best protection! 🐶🐱
