Meet one of the dog world’s most energetic and affectionate companions — the Vizsla! Say hello to Abby!

Originally bred in Hungary as hunting dogs, Vizslas are known for their beautiful golden-rust coats, athletic ability, and incredibly loyal personalities. They’re often nicknamed “Velcro Dogs” because they love staying close to their humans at all times. ❤️

A few fun facts about Vizslas:
✨ Extremely intelligent and eager to learn
🎾 Thrive with lots of exercise and mental stimulation
🏃 Built for adventure — running, hiking, swimming, and playtime are favorites

After more than four years of dedicated leadership, we say goodbye to Katie as she begins her next chapter.

Katie joined our team during a pivotal time and quickly became an integral part of our success. Through her commitment, hard work, and steady leadership, she helped position Law's Country Kennel for growth and played a major role in guiding us through the years following COVID. Her ability to manage the day-to-day operations of the business, while also supporting the people behind it, helped create a stronger organization for both our customers and our team.

Anyone who has worked in the pet care industry knows that managing a fast-paced business with high standards is no easy task. Every day brings new challenges, countless moving parts, and the responsibility of caring for both people and pets. Katie embraced that responsibility wholeheartedly and did an exceptional job. She handled the physical demands of the position, the mental challenges of leadership, and the daily pressures of maintaining our standards with professionalism and grace.

Katie led with patience, understanding, and genuine care. She was always willing to listen, offer guidance, and support her team through both challenges and successes. Her steady presence helped build a culture that valued teamwork, accountability, and compassion.

One thing we learned about Katie is that goodbyes are never easy for her, and truthfully, this one isn't easy for us either. Working alongside her has been a privilege, and her contributions to our company have left a lasting impact. She was an immense help during a critical period in our history and played a significant role in helping us return to a position of strength and growth.

Katie, thank you for your years of service, your leadership, your dedication, and your friendship. You will be greatly missed by our team, our customers, and the many dogs whose lives you helped enrich along the way.

We wish you nothing but happiness, success, and fulfillment in whatever comes next.

We saw familiar faces, met some new friends, and enjoyed spending time with the people who make Laws Country Kennel such a special place. Our customers, pets, and team members are the heart of everything we do, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We loved seeing so many smiling faces—both two-legged and four-legged! ❤️🐾

“Every ending makes room for a new beginning, but this one will be felt.”

It’s hard to put into words how much Taylor has meant to our team. She was someone I trusted fully. Her care for our staff, our customers, and every dog and cat here never went unnoticed. The fact that I didn’t have to worry when she was on the job says everything. I’m incredibly proud of who she’s become, and while we’ll miss her greatly, I’m excited to see where her path leads next. -Bill

Taylor has been with us for FOUR years! She greeted every customer with a smile. (Maybe some excited hops for a few regulars 😆) Taylor was a fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly teammate and trainer. We have been so lucky to have you! We will miss you and Zuko’s daycare days and look forward to check-ins! You and Patrick drive carefully and keep all your precious cargo safe on the long haul to Washington!! ❤️
