Always wonder what the secret to great obstacle focus, independence, tight turns and fast lines? Here is your chance to learn those secrets first hand!! Learn the basic principles and foundations of handling within a consistent and natural, motion based handling system. Techniques for building better commitment to jumps and tunnels to allow you to show the line. Open to dogs/puppies 6 months old and up that can reliably work off leash and confident doing Curved Tunnel. Jumping not required (bars may be on ground or removed). No Contacts or Weaves required.

Running courses today takes a good balance of forward drive in extension and timely collection cues to be successful. This session will use in short sequences to work on perfecting the skills necessary to transition between the two and how to maximize both on a course to reach the team's full potential. Shorter jump/tunnel sequences will be used for this workshop and low or no bars are ok for those that are not ready for full height.

Need help connecting with your dog's inner speed demon? A variety of techniques on increasing drive and motivation will be presented. Skills including targeting and play (both with and without toys), reinforcement rates, and bridging the gap between practice and competition will be emphasized. This will include work without the equipment as well as on short jump/tunnel sequences.

Short sequences to test and proof your team’s skills, find the holes in your training, and send you home with some homework and a training plan. How to utilize the right skills in the right place and finding the best line. Appropriate for teams who can perform short sequences at the Masters/Excellent level (jumps and tunnels only).

I will be starting a new Agility Foundations class at All Fur Fun in Addison. This class will be Tuesdays at 7:15pm for 8 weeks. First class starts June 11th and cost is $180.
