Schaefer's Miniature American Shepherds, located in North Carolina, is a small hobby breeder that strives to produce quality pups that are structurally correct, have great temperaments and are free from genetic defects. We believe that every dog has something special to offer, be it on the herding field, in the conformation ring, participating in performance events, or as a devoted family member.

We strive to produce pups that are physically and mentally capable of fulfilling their potential. We love dogs that can do any job asked of them and can look good doing it.

We.love Tyler more and more everyday. He is in charge of the household. He keeps us on a schedule. When to get up, go to bed, our meal times, etc. He is more loving than any dog that i have ever known. He is always at my side. He is incredibly fantastic on long drives unless someone gets too close to the car. He is very protective. His 4th birthday is next week. I don't want him to get any older!!!
