Little fun fact đŸŒżđŸ±

There are SO many beautiful plants and flowers that can be toxic to our kitties. It’s something a lot of pet owners don’t realize until it’s too late.

Some of the most common culprits? Lilies, aloe, pothos, and philodendrons — all popular, all potentially dangerous for cats.

If you’re bringing new plants into your home (or sending/receiving flowers), it’s always a good idea to double check they’re pet-safe.

When in doubt, keep it out of reach or skip it altogether — our curious cats love to nibble đŸŒ±

Today we’re celebrating this old man’s 16th birthday. We all have that “heart dog”
 and he is mine.

This perfect boy has been by my side through so many phases of life, and I’m incredibly grateful for every single one of these 16 years with him.

Last week, during routine screening, I found a primary lung tumor. It was an incidental finding, and thankfully he isn’t showing any symptoms.

I’m sharing this because it matters.

I know diagnostic testing can sometimes feel unnecessary or even like a “money grab,” but I promise you—there is real value in it. This is exactly why.

Routine bloodwork, x-rays, blood pressure, eye pressure, and other diagnostics (based on age and breed) give us insight into what’s happening inside your pet’s body—often before they ever show signs.

Knowledge is power, y’all. And having that knowledge allows us to make informed decisions that support longevity and, most importantly, quality of life.
