I'm still here. Promise. Getting into a house has been the priority. We've finally moved in so a couple more weeks of getting settled and I'll be able to fully finish the rabbitry and spend more time out there.

One of my strategies is to breed to increase my bottomline - you're only as good as your weakest link. I don't try and breed for a single top quality animal. I breed to increase average quality in the entire program by slowly eliminating the most widespread fault. I ask myself, what's the one weakest trait I have across the board and what can I do to work past it? Progress can sometimes feel slower this way but I also feel like it creates more consistency and redundancy in the program. I personally don't think it's very impressive when a breeder has a single stunning rabbit but the rest of their entries look like culls...

Big news!

I know it's been quiet here lately and that's because we've been very VERY busy. While it's not technically official for another week or two, I wanted to give a heads up because things are happening very quickly.

Hoppy Days is moving to East Texas this spring!

We will only be selling Templeton through the end of March in preparation for this. Thanks to everyone for being patient while we make this transition. I know I owe a few pedigrees out there. I will have some availability before we leave but limited.
