He and his sister V are getting along well and have a blast playing together.
Grimm has enjoyed his visits to the barn and was confident and brave when at the beach for his first time!

Delta Force Animal Mission, Corp is a 100% volunteer-foster based 501c3 Non-Profit working dog rescue group dedicated to saving the lives of working dogs facing imminent death in our shelter system.

Too often, working breeds such as Belgian, Dutch and German Shepherds find themselves in homes where they are under stimulated and lack proper direction and training; this can lead to destruction of property, poor behavior, owner surrenders, abandonment, and thousands of dogs facing euthanasia in the shelters everyday. The numbers have become staggering.

Delta Force rescues these dogs, provides veterinary care, evaluates and rehabilitates through proper training, exposure and socialization, to provide them with the proper foundation to make a successful transition into forever them homes.

Delta Force Animal Mission also has a Zero to Hero Program for high drive dogs that will require a job to meet their “drive” needs. These dogs receive specialty K9 training in detection, protection and/or apprehension to work in law enforcement or private sector working homes that can fulfill both providing a living forever home and a job.

⭐️PUPDATE⭐️
We sure miss this sweet, gorgeous boy. He was pretty perfect. Always happy just being with you.

He continues to thrive in his new home while bringing his two legged parents so much joy.

They wanted a dog that would have the disposition to accompany them in their active life. They had experience in the past with a reactive dog, that wasn’t able to accompany them everywhere.

Ryder was a dog that had been adopted from the shelter and then returned about a year later, siting he would escape the yard and was aggressive with cats.
This was truly hard to believe as, from day one of pulling him from the shelter, he was the type of dog you couldn’t run away from. We never had issues with him trying to escape the fosters yard and when tested with cats, he was very neutral to them. However, what we could tell, was that he received very little physical handling or petting.
He would get nervous and flinch when you would pet him past his shoulders. As Ryders training, socializing and desensitizing continued, he found that he LOVED that physical contact, LOVED being an inside dog, LOVED going on outings and even got confident in meeting new people. He loved being loved so much after not having that in his life, that we knew someone retired or that works from home would be ideal for him.

That’s exactly what we were able to find for him. During the meet and greet, Ryder definitely showed right away that he picked them and very much wanted them to take him home. His adopters instantly fell in love and the match was sealed!!!!Both Ryders adoptive parents work from home. They live close to the beach and go on many adventures. His mom rides horses and Ryder loves accompanying her to the barn.
Ryder is excelling in his training and has even learned some tricks.

Look who is eager to go home! Creed is now continuing his treatment at his foster home.

We will still be closely monitoring him, but it is nice to see this big 85 lb boy eager to get up and move about. He is eating and drinking well.

‼️WE NEED YOUR HELP‼️
Our sweet and talented Creed is currently hospitalized and the ongoing extreme shortage of donations has left us without money for emergencies such as this.
Yesterday late afternoon, a loose dog began kennel fighting with Creed. With no one home to stop it, this continued until he overexerted himself causing his body to overheat which resulted in heat stroke.
Creed was rushed to the vet hospital lethargic, unwilling to stand or walk, vomiting and diarrhea. No superficial injuries, all symptoms of heat stroke only.
This morning, he is up and walking but his bloodwork still clearly shows he needs continued supportive treatment.
Please help Creed by donating towards his vet bills.

Meet Scout!! 🐾🦮Scout is a 1.5 yr old, male, yellow, Labrador Retriever. He is good with other dogs, neutral with cats and horses, friendly and loves attention. Energetic, playful and always happy! He can be a little shy at first, but within minutes is your best friend. We are confident he will be a confident, social butterfly.
Scout loves water, playing with dogs and hanging out with his family. He is quiet and calm in the crate and is learning to kennel on command. Scout is currently potty training and has started his obedience training. He is treat motivated, making training easy and efficient.
He has been microchipped and brought up to date on vaccinations and deworming.

Meet Grimm 🐾
8 mo old, MN, Belgian Malinois, fawn puppy.
All legs and ears at this age!

Extremely sweet and affectionate. Very social and eager to meet new friends. Great food drive and highly intelligent, making training easy. Drivey with good toy drive, strong grip. Grimm loves water, playing with toys and is very playful with other dogs, but can be forward. He is fostered with cats and horses. He is not sure what to think of the cats and will sometimes bark at them, so with cats he is still learning to be respectful and know his boundaries.
With the horses, he does very well at staying out of their way.

Malinois have energy and require mental stimulation to settle. Grimm is best suited for an active family. We do require adopters to continue training which will help prepare the adopters to clearly communicate and simulate “work” for Grimm to provide that mental stimulation and build a lasting, respectful relationship with their dog.

Grimm has been started on basic obedience, is crate trained and has been super with potty training.

We have been preparing Grimm for his new home, through training, socialization and improving his weight from the stress he underwent being at the shelter. He is ready for his forever home.
