Leo came in to see us for a urinary blockage—a serious and painful condition that requires immediate medical attention 🚨🐾
We were able to quickly step in and provide the care he needed, and he handled everything like a brave boy 💙
Urinary blockages are especially common in male cats due to their narrower urethra, making it easier for crystals, inflammation, or debris to cause a life-threatening obstruction. Signs to watch for include straining to urinate, frequent trips to the litter box, vocalizing, or little to no urine production.
Early detection can make all the difference! If you ever notice changes in your cat’s bathroom habits, don’t wait—seek veterinary care right away.
We’re so proud of Leo and wishing him a smooth and speedy recovery! 🐱✨
