Simba is looking for his happily ever after…. This sweet boy is about 1yrs old, neutered, chipped, current on all vaccines and on monthly preventatives. He loves all people and dogs but needs a home without cats. He is house and crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. He LOVES playing with frisbees and tennis balls. And will happily cuddle with you for some belly rubs.

He’s currently being fostered in West Deptford NJ.

Hunny would love to share everything she can with a family that will love her forever. She came to us after being left outside with her 3 week old babies. Those babies had SO MANY applications and immediately found loving homes... and yet this adorable, lovable, friendly mamma is still waiting. Hunny is about 2.5 yrs old, dog friendly, people friendly, house and crate trained and current on vaccines and preventatives. She loves to play with toys.... to go swimming... or to just hang out with her humans (or doggie friends). She may be best suited for older kids given her playful energy level. (She's approximately 50lbs.)

Now that she has healed from weaning her beautiful babies, she is scheduled to be spayed soon and would love to start her next chapter with her furever family. She is currently located in River Vale, NJ.

UPDATE - ADOPTED

Hi my name is Otis! I think my birthday is May 3rd...but the hoomans said they don't really know. I'm a super smart and may I just say, adorable, little man that is looking for a family to call my own. I love all other dogs and people.... I stay away from those pointie things that hiss... They don't seem very nice. My foster mom says I am amazing at going potty outside considering I'm just a baby. I tell her I'm not a baby... I'm already 8lbs and can do lots of things on my own! I am not a huge fan of being in my crate when everyone is awake.... but do you blame me as a baby?? But I forget quickly why I'm upset and usually take a nap. I also sleep all night in my rolling home with no accidents... just like a big boy.

Foster mom says I've had almost all of my baby vaccines (whatever those are) but that I'll need to get my rabies when I celebrate my nutcracker day... that sounds fun!! I also get tasty treats to keep those annoying ticks and fleas off of me and protect me from heartworms. Yuck!

Anyway, I'm hanging out in West Deptford, NJ. If you think I would be a good fit for you and your family, please apply here and my rescue will reach out!

She’s been waiting for 2 yrs…. Nobody asks to meet her….

This beautiful girl is looking for her forever family 💗 Are you looking for a full grown, potty trained, sleeps in, loves her crate and even puts herself to bed addition to your life? Mila is your girl! Mila does best in an environment with routine where she has rules and knows exactly what her humans expect. She does need a yard to run, but comes right back once she gets a few laps in. She's super smart and loves hard! Mila has a lot of excitement with new people and experiences so may need a few meets with her potential family. She loves her family and aims to please both humans and other pups. She also chases anything that moves quickly so she's more appropriate for children 14 and up. Maybe you like a quiet household, but need a 55 lb Velcro dog in your life? Do you like you routine, but also want an addition that can fit right in? Mila is your girl!

THIS….READ IT TWICE!! AND SHARE.

We know it's heartbreaking to have your dog crated ten plus hours, but imagine them being crated for 23 hours or even 24. A lot of shelters and rescues are overwhelmed with owner surrenders right now, but there are tons of things you can do to keep your dog in your house.

You can hire a midday dog walker. You could take your dogs to doggie daycare. There are amazing lick mats and Kongs filled with frozen peanut butter to help entertain and keep your dog calm while you're gone. Ask us about enrichment ideas!

Going back to the office is not an adequate reason to give up on your pet.

Owner surrendered pets are usually the first to be euthanized inside county shelters because they need the space in order to make room for lost dogs. Even if you think your dog will be adopted quickly and could find a better home, that is not usually the case. Please consider all options before surrendering your pet, and think about their best interests. They trust you, they are a member of your family, and they love you unconditionally.
